Present Perfect Tense:-

Introduction:-☝

  1. Use the third form of the verb.
  2. "Have" and "has" are used as helping verbs.
  3. With I, we, they, you+ plural subject/noun..... have is used as a helping verb.
  4. With he, she, it + singular subject/noun.....has is used as a helping verb.
  5. In negative tenses not is used after have or has.
  6. In interrogative tenses "have" or "has" are used at the beginning of the tense.
  7. Formula= subject + have/has+3rd form of verb + object.
  8. In the Urdu language the recognition of the present perfect tense is چکاھوں/لیا ھے،چکےھیں/لیے ھیں،چکی ھیں / لی ھیں are used at the end of Urdu sentence/tense.
  9. e.g. He has slept.....He has not slept.....Has he not slept?
