 Past Continuous Tense:-

Introduction:-👈

1. Use of the first form of the verb.
2. Use of was, were as helping verb.
3. With the first form of verb add "ing".
4. In negative tense not is used after helping verb was, were.
5. In interrogative tense "was, were" are used at the beginning of tense.
6. With we, they, you +plural noun.....were is used as helping verb.
7. With  I, he, she, it +singular noun.....was is used as a helping verb.
8. The recognition of Present Continuous Tense in Urdu is..... at the end of the Urdu sentence we can see رھا تھا ،رھے تھے،رھی تھی.

For Example:

• They were earning by selling cloth.                                        وہ کپڑا بیچ کر کما رھے تھے۔
• They were not earning by selling cloth.                             وہ کپڑا بیچ کرنھیں کما رھے تھے۔
• Were they earning by selling cloth?                                   کیا وہ کپڑا بیچ کر کما رھے تھے؟
• You are starting the business of cosmetics.            آپ کاسمیٹکس کا بزنس شروع کر رھے ھو۔
• You are not starting the business of cosmeticsآپ کاسمیٹکس کا بزنس شروع نھیں کر رھے ھو۔
• Are you starting the business of cosmetics?     کیا آپ کاسمیٹکس کا بزنس شروع کر رھے ھو؟
